I frequently here people say they need me to motivate them.
And perhaps through my classes, coaching or social media posts I can motivate you to begin a new wellness journey.
But I CANNOT motivate you to continue
for the long-haul.
In fact, no one may be able to maintain your motivation. Not even YOU!
You see, motivation may get you started but there are two other things that KEEP you going...
Discipline and habits
Many coaches say 1/3 of your training sessions will feel great. And during or after those session, the ones where you feel amazing, will definitely motivate you to keep going.
But the coaches also say 1/3 of your training sessions will probably feel, meh. And
1/3 will feel downright awful.
Motivation won't get you through THOSE sessions. Discipline will. Discipline is what makes you put on your workout clothes and running shoes and get it done even when you don't feel like it.
Discipline is what helps you create the consistent habits that will help you reach your goals.
So stop looking for motivation. Focus on your discipline. That's what will lead you to success.
